Customer Reviews of Snap on Torque Wrench

This is very easy to use, and it shows you exactly what torque you hit because there is an indicator that stops and stays exactly where you stopped torquing.

This torque wrench is very accurate, and its one of the best quality tools I have purchased.

The quality of this tool is FANTASTIC. I would give this tool 6 stars if I could.

This tool fits very well in its case and is foam fitted in its case.

Everything about the tool is precise. Its just a great feeling.

If you need one of these for a job, definately get one. I was very pleasantly surprised.

Everything looks so professional.

I am VERY happy with this purchase.

Torque Wrench inch pounds Customer Reviews of Torque Wrench !

Torque Wrench Inch Pounds Excellent piece of kit. Though it won’t get used often I felt it was about time that I invested in a torque wrench as I intend to strip down my trucks suspension. As I have for the last 20 odd years I would normally tighten any nuts or bolts up ‘FT’ but after seeing the price of this decided to do it the correct way and torque them. Anyway the delivery was super speedy taking less then 3 days.

It was packaged up in glad wrap which was undamaged and the wrench itself is inside a blown plastic storage case which looks solid enough to me. Although this is more of a precision tool then say a hammer or screw driver it looks pretty sturdy and appears to be good quality. I haven’t heard of Mountain before and have used mainly Snap-On, Britool, King Dick etc tools before so was intrigued by the other reviews. The chrome plating looks like a quality job and is of even colour and texture with no obvious problems. The graduations are engraved rather then laser etched which should give them a longer life and the ratchet has a positive tight ‘click’ to it. The knurled lock nut on the end is made from the same metal as impact driver sockets and screws in and out freely, though it isn’t secured to the ratchet on a rod like other wrenches I have used, and will fall off if unscrewed too far (n.b. if you drop it there is a spring washer underneath)

Awesome Tools.

I have bought many tools over the 40 years I have been messing with cars. I needed a bigĀ Torque Wrench Inch Pounds to tighten the spindle nuts on the Cobra replica I built and picked this one for its capability and price. It is the first time I received a calibration sheet with a torque wrench, even the Craftsman tools I have bought never came with one. Good basis torque wrench with great features. Give me a mechanical wrench over an electronic one any day. Great quality!!

Torque WrenchCustomer Reviews

Torque Wrench As a pro user, using this in the shop every day, I dislike “click” type micrometer torque wrenches, as they must be re-calibrated on a regular basis to maintain accuracy. I prefer beam type wrenches, as they never really need re-calibration (simply bend the pointer to line it up on 0 if necessary) and I still have my KD torque wrench (0-150 Ft Lbs, 1/2 inch drive) that is over 30 years old, and still works consistently and accurately every day. KD tools hold up under the tough daily use in a professional repair shop. I highly recommend these to anyone.

Torque Wrench This is nice compliment to my other torque wrench, I wanted something that does inch pounds and this has a very good range. It runs from 0-600 inch pounds and should work just fine for lower torque specifications. 600 inch pounds is 50 foot pounds so this covers all the lower range I need and it seems to be well made. Torque Wrench is smaller than my higher torque click style wrench, it is a beam style so it has the advantages and disadvantages that go along with that.
